This is the useful and easy to use Photo Editor Program that I’m using – Photoscape.. and it’s free to download.. (click here for downloading!)
Photoscape is similar to Photoshop but I think it’s more easy to use than Photoshop. There are many features to use not only editing your photos but also adding text, frame, fun pictures or drawings..
Here I will show the features that I often use to edit my photos for my shop.
First.. select the “Editor” at the top.. or in the front page..
Then you will see the page like this.. and choose the photo from the sidebar..
This is the controller menu at the bottom of the page..
At the right side of this controller, you will see the “Undo”, “Redo”, “Undo All” and “Save” Buttons.. which the easy way for you to undo and redo everything.. or click undo all to be at beginning again..
Next thing to do is depend on your photo.. normally I will edit the white color called “White Balance”.. the program will automatic adjust the color base on the white spot you selected.. that’s why I love to have a white background coz it’s easy to make white balance.. if you want other color background I recommend you to put small piece of white while you photo it.. This feature will make the huge size of the file so my tips is “crop it before white balance”..
Here the button for cropping..
Then.. choose the ratio for cropping.. or use “freely” but I use “1:1″..
Anyway, you still can extend the crop area as you want event you chose 1:1 ratio..
Now we can do “white balance”..
Choose “white balance” from “Bright, Color”..
Then click on the area that’s white.. then it will adjust the color for you.. here is the sample for before and after..
Now it’s time to give this photo more lights.. (I told you that you don’t have to have a light box to make a perfect photo.. you can use computer to help..)
Choose “Bloom” from the controller..
If you click on the small arrow on the right of Bloom button..
You can choose the level of brightness automatically..
If you click on the large bloom button..
This window will show up.. you can adjust the percentage of bright at “Level”.. if you want your photo more dreamy.. increase “Blur” but this feature link to Level.. if your level is low, you can’t see the different.. just play with them you will see what I mean.. “Contrast” is how strong you want for the contrast on that photo.. I recommend “50%” as normal.. if it comes out incorrect color, you can adjust it later..
Here is the finish of this process..
I show you the un-edited photo to compare..
Now it’s all done.. You just have to save it.. Oh.. one little thing.. when you save it, it will show you how large of this file.. if it’s more than 2mb, you just only go back and resize the photo (resize button on the controller).. it’ll help to reduce the file size..
I will show you other features later.. but you can try them by yourself.. if something goes wrong, you just click “undo”.. easy, isn’t it??
