Origami Flower..

Origami is Japanese word for Paper Folding.. when I was a teenager, paper folding was very popular as a gift to someone you admire.. folding many hundreds of tiny cranes is showing how much you admire that person.. Hundreds of cranes were put in the glass jars with beautiful ribbons.. Several patterns of paper folding that I made to put in jars.. Cranes, Stars, Turtles, and Boats..

I stopped making Origami since I was in High School.. many many years already.. My interest in Origami was come back when I saw the Origami Flower for Cupcake Topping in MarthaStewart.com.. I thought at that time I must find out how to make it.. and I found how.. but I still didn’t decide what kind of paper I will use.. then one day, Mom asked me to check all her lottery as usual and when I looked at the colorful Lotto papers I decided this paper will be my material for my Origami Flowers..

Let’s see how beautiful this flower came out..

Normally, it will have 5 petals but I like 6 petals..

Here are the Lotto Papers.. I think they are great for scrapbook too…

Now all these papers are available in my shop – PatchSupplyShop.etsy.com

You can see the instructions at Folding Tree..

What do you think about this paper flower?? Do you think I can sell this paper flower?? :D
