I opened the shop in Etsy.com since December 2008. At that time, I just tried on because I didn’t sell anything online before. On April 2009, I’ve started seriously organize my shop to be my permanent job and I studied what to do with Online Shops from books and online articles but I’ve still not been success. Then I thought about what I had learned about business management focusing on Marketing so I started my own SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is the basic business analysis method, it’s the reviews for your whole business in Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat and then you have to evaluate the results.. what will you do about all the results such as what will you do with your opportunity you have, or how you will manage your weaknesses, can you get rids of them, or you will ignore them and make your strengths more strongly to your customer.. like that..
After SWOT analysis, my plans for next few months are..
- Separate the shop into two shops first.. have a plan to open more shops in the future;
- Make more designs for the jewelry items..
- Create more marketing traffics to the shop
- Decide what to do with Artfire shop
Have to see what will happen for both shops first and then plan more..
In the next few months, you will see the designs more involved in wedding styles but they all can use in various occasions.
